Job Title: Principal Software Engineer – Automation QA
Grade:4
Span of Control: Maybe Applicable
Recommended years of Experience: 6-8 Yrs of relevant experience.
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
Location: Bangalore

Role Summary

As a Quality Analyst, you need to understand requirements, design test cases, and execute the scripts. Ensure alignment of designed application with business requirements as per the specification from client and project.

Skillset

• Experience in SDLC utilizing agile (Scrum) methodologies
• Well versed with different frameworks like Data Driven, Keyword Driven, Hybrid, Behavior Driven, Robot Framework, etc
• Proficient any one of the languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, C#
• Proficient using Cucumber, Maven/Jenkins, Selenium TestNG, Selenium Grid, etc
• Experienced in load and performance testing using JMeter, Blazemeter
• Experience with web based application software
• Experience with Bug/Feature tracking platforms (Azure, DevOps, Jira, etc.)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Analytic and problem solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Selenium WebDriver, Protractor, WebdriverIO, Coded UI, etc

Job Responsibilities

• Document test cases
• Create test plans
• Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness
• Perform manual and automated feature, integration, regression, and visual testing
• Maintain and extend test automation framework for Web applications
• Maintain regression & build verification scripts, run them regularly and share reports with stakeholders
• Identify and track bugs throughout testing
• Collaborate with the Development team to ensure consistent project execution
