Reporting to: Sr. Manager / GM - Finance

Requirements

  • Qualified chartered accountant
  • Industry Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting and Analytics.
  • Prior exp in the Telecom industry will be a plus.
  • Sound technical knowledge of accounting principles, Taxation & Auditing
  • Competency in advanced Excel and MS office.
  • Exposure to SAP (optional)
  • Good Communication Skills and Team Management skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and ever-changing needs of the business.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Deliver cost savings targets of the group.
  • Analyse the existing processes and streamline the same by driving automation initiatives, providing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for identified processes.
  • Improve vendor management by stringent reconciliation process, bio-metric attendance & strengthening the onboarding process.
  • Provide Monthly MIS on key business operating metrices to drive efficiencies & improved control.
  • Drive initiatives wrt reduction in Non-PO payments and metrices wrt creditors, SRN.GRN, etc.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization including operations, IT and marketing teams to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify and address internal process lapses for better financial performance.
  • Responsible for monthly compliances- GST, TDS, PF & ESI, P.Tax
  • Efficient management of tax litigations, assessment & GST Audit
  • Monthly accurate finalization of accounts in compliance with Accepted Accounting Standards, Audit Practices & Statutory/ Regulatory Provisions
  • Support special projects, initiatives, ad-hoc reporting & analysis requirements
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the business and various value-added services offered, and proactively identify and address issues.
  • Ensure governance around customer refunds and payments.
