The Corporate Counsel role will serve as the primary support to our General Counsel for our worldwide business. Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will provide efficient, effective and commercially minded legal counsel in an effort to minimize risk and ensure a robust compliance regime.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate major and/or non-standard technology contracts with public and private sector customers, including licensing agreements and professional services agreements for enterprise customers
- Assist in managing the company’s intellectual property portfolio and preserve corporate records
- Assist General Counsel with managing the internal legal team as well as outside counsel as necessary
- Identify legal and commercial risks and issues and assist with the development of
- solutions
- Keep up to date on changes to legislation, regulation, and relevant legal topics across multiple jurisdictions
- Work on ad hoc legal projects, including but not limited to, new policies, templates and procedures, and other corporate legal regulatory matters
- Serve as primary back up to General Counsel for various legal matters both internal and external
