Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software components under clear direction and guidance
• Implement well-defined tasks, bug fixes, and small feature changes
• Write and maintain unit tests for assigned code
• Participate in code reviews, both receiving and applying feedback
• Learn and work within existing codebases, including legacy systems
• Follow established coding standards, architectural patterns, and best practices
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily standups, retros)
• Raise questions and blockers early and clearly
• Use AI tools as a supportive aid (e.g., understanding code, drafting solutions), while maintaining ownership of final output

Scope & Autonomy

• Works on small to moderately scoped tasks.
• Requires regular guidance and review from senior developers or TLs.
• Does not own system design or architectural decisions.
• Does not mentor others formally but is expected to collaborate respectfully
