The role:
We are seeking a Group Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced
commercial environment, whether you’re transitioning from practice or already have experience in industry.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping financial processes and supporting our ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce consolidated monthly financial reporting requirements, including management accounts,
    investor and banking requirements.
  • Lead the year-end process, acting as the key contact for audit and tax advisors.
  • Prepare annual consolidated financial statements and single-entity statutory accounts.
  • Produce consolidated weekly short-term cashflow forecasts.
  • Support the Head of Group Reporting with integration and updates of the finance system.
  • Improve and maintain capex reporting, including development spend.
  • Develop and maintain monthly overhead reporting and present to department heads.
  • Manage and support the Payroll Manager, gaining sufficient understanding of the payroll process
    to provide cover in exceptional circumstances.
  • Deputise for the Head of Group Reporting as and when required.

The skills and experience which we are looking for in a Group Accountant are:

Essential

  • ACCA/ICAEW or equivalent qualified or part-qualified (with a clear plan to complete).
  • Strong background in practice accountancy, ideally with exposure to multiple clients.
  • Audit experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

Job type: This is a full-time hybrid position, primarily remote with 1–2 days per week at our Sheffield
office.
Occasional out-of-hours work may be required to meet business needs.
