We focus on private equity, real estate, infrastructure and debt asset classes. With more than 100 professionals and over 500 alternative investment funds (AIF) on our platform we are today the leading third-party AIFM in private funds space in Luxembourg.
We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager Operational Due Diligence to support our Luxembourg department in charge of the due diligences focused on fund administrators and depositaries.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support operational due diligence assignments with the focus on depositaries and fund administrators
Lead and support on-site visits
Prepare fund´s board reports within the agreed timelines
Liaise with internal teams to constantly improve the quality of control framework
Analyze financial statements, structure charts, organizational charts, licenses, KPIs, SOC reports
Identify key issues with service providers
Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team development
Maintain clear documentation and follow processes
Recommend enhancements to due diligence workflows and tools
Support with ad hoc projects
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar
3 – 5 years work experience in due diligence, audit, or similar
Experience in a Luxembourgish AIFM is an asset
Skills & competencies:
Strong analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication in English is a must
High attention to detail and critical thinking
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Proficiency in MS Office
Working autonomously
