Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all operational aspects of sub-team deliverables including effective management of the resources and activities and providing regular updates to Senior Accounts Manager.
  • Ensure that final deliverables to clients are 100% correct in terms of quality and accuracy.
  • Develop full awareness of individual clients and their requirements and manage client relationships, ensuring that they are satisfied with level of service.
  • Oversee, review and monitor work done by team members and ensuring that all day-to-day matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Show understanding of business risks in the Global Business Sector (GBS) and approach day-to-day work with a risk minimisation mind-set.
  • Review of net asset value calculations
  • Review of daily operations duties` such as bank transfers, trade orders, trade confirmations and ad-hoc client tasks.
  • Ensure accurate financial statements and tax returns are filed by the regulatory deadlines.
  • Coordinate customer due diligence (CDD) as per AML Code and maintain an updated list of CDD for all companies.
  • Attend to Fund Administration tasks for Open End Funds and ad-hoc client reporting.
  • Review of FSC surveys and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and proper investor reporting in terms of both email communications and investor statements as far as the sub-team is concerned.
  • Mentoring and coaching of team members and identifying training needs and communicate to Senior Accounts Manager.
  • Assisting in a culture of continuous process improvement and promoting and driving efficiency initiatives.

Skills / experience

  • 5 – 7 years of working experience in the Global Business Sector would be an advantage.
  • Holds a degree or has completed/substantially completed a professional ACCA qualification or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate a client service mindset when servicing the client.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel).
  • Good written and spoken communications skills.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Goal-oriented and an organized team player.
  • Quick learner and able to adapt in different work environment.
  • Well organised and a track record of working to tight deadline
