Tax Officer

As a Tax Officer, you will have a cross-department exposure and participate in the overall governance of the AIFM. You will collaborate closely with Portfolio Management with the regular review of structures and transactions
Job Specification:
• Be the main point of contact in regard to tax matters and escalation
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Review investment opportunities and related tax analysis received from investment advisors
• Review offering documents and fund documentation and ensure tax compliance
• Perform assessments under DAC 6, CSSF 20/744 and general tax framework
• Engage in the onboarding of new investment funds as a subject matter expert in the field of tax
• Engage in regular research and reading on tax technical topics and draft internal technical notes
• Actively monitor regulatory and tax changes affecting the business and clients and draft communication / give presentations where relevant
Profile:
• University degree Business Administration, Economics, International Tax or relevant professional qualifications are considered as a plus
• A minimum of one year of working experience within the funds industry
• Good knowledge of Luxembourg fund industry and International Tax
• Excellent intellect with the ability to understand complex issues quickly, grasp new concepts and ideas rapidly
• Fluent in English (knowledge of French or German will be considered an asset together with any other EU languages).
