Salesforce Administrator – Job Description
Job Overview
A Salesforce Administrator is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, configuration, and support of the Salesforce platform. This role involves managing system configurations, maintaining data integrity, implementing automation, and supporting users to enhance business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform: User setup, customization, and system security.
- Configure and optimize Salesforce features: Workflows, validation rules, approval processes, and automation tools.
- Manage system upgrades and troubleshooting: Ensure seamless operation and data integrity.
- Develop reports and dashboards: Provide valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Gather requirements and implement process improvements.
- Support end-users: Provide training, documentation, and technical assistance.
- Ensure compliance: Adhere to company policies and Salesforce best practices.
- Monitor platform health: Conduct regular system audits and prepare for upgrades.
- Evaluate and implement integrations: Work with third-party applications and API connections as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (preferred).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM functionality, automation tools, and reporting.
- Ability to manage data import/export, validation, and security settings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning Components.
- Familiarity with integrations, third-party applications, and API connections.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, CPQ
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops
- Experience with system upgrades and ensuring successful integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
