Associate Director - Executive Performance & Reward Services (“EPRS”)
Role Summary
This is a senior role within the EPRS division. The role has a wide array of responsibilities including, but not limited to, overseeing the provision of fiduciary services and administration to a portfolio of clients in relation to their employee benefit trusts.
The division provides a supportive, team-based, client-focused environment that is dedicated towards delivering high quality services in support of the overall divisional objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Generally oversee and assist client services team with which you're associated.
- Assist the Directors with the development of the employee benefit and corporate services offering, striving to ensure Apex's optimal positions within the market;
- Assist the Directors in the development of employee benefit and corporate services, to ensure that a premium service is offered to Apex's clients;
- Oversee and ensure that all client related fiduciary and administrative duties are undertaken in a timely and effective basis within the team;
- Ensure team's compliance with applicable laws, service standards, company policies and procedures and agreement operational and control processes;
- Build excellent working relationships with key clients within the Corporate Services Division and continuously works to enhance client experience and ensures that Apex is viewed as the provider of choice for all outsourcing requirements;
- Supports the Directors in successfully delivering and driving to meet or exceed the budgeted financial targets for division;
- Ensures team meets/hits relevant operational & risk/compliance KPIs and targets;
- Provides day-to-day leadership and management guidance which mirrors the organisational vision and values;
- Motivates and leads a high performing team, focusing on the attraction, recruitment and retention of business professionals that have the appropriate skills and experience for the division;
- Ensures the team has personal development plans, clear understanding of their role & responsibilities and formal performance evaluations, which are reviewed each year;
- Perform other duties as may be requested to support the growth and development of the client team and wider division.
Skills / experience required
- Appropriate professional qualification (STEP/CGI/ACCA);
- Highly developed commercial and strategic dexterity;
- Continual awareness of the corporate market to create or seize opportunities or respond to threats;
- Has the credibility and gravitas to interact and develop business relationships both internally and externally;
- Is focused on delivering against business goals to create value;
- Good understanding of the technical and operational requirements of offering a broad range of fiduciary and administrative services to corporates;
- Challenges, harnesses and nurtures the talents of people at all levels;
- Strong team player that demonstrates an interest in the strategy and culture of Apex and supports the ideas of others.
