Role: Custody Reconciliation & Reporting Officer

Role Location: Valencia

Department: Custody

Level of the role: Senior Associate 2

Employment Type: Permanent

Role summary:

As a Reconciliation & Reporting Officer, you will be responsible to manage the different kind of reconciliation steps for cash and securities, the preparation of regulatory reporting’s and credit assessment of outgoing payments as follows:

Key responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of cash positions (internal versus sub custodian)

  • Reconciliation of financial instruments positions (internal versus sub custodian)

  • Reconciliation of Digital Banking transactions and positions • Creation of regulatory reporting (e.g. QI, EMIR, MIFID, FATCA, CRS)

  • Preparing files for ETD an OTC Collateral Management process.

  • Daily monitoring of blocked outgoing payments due to credit limit breaches

  • Daily monitoring of Credit Reporting package (e.g. Overdrafts, Limits, Valuation of Collateral)

  • Weekly update of debit interests

  • Internal reporting: AUC and KPI

  • Any other duty, which is instructed directly by the managing directors in accordance with Article 6.2 of the employment agreement.

Experience and skills:

  • University degree in Banking/ Finance /Accounting or similar.

  • Excellent English spoken and written communication skills.

  • Very good computer literacy.

  • Very good Excel knowledge.

  • Understanding the banking industry.

  • Good understanding of the Custody business.

  • Customer Focus.

  • Concern for Quality.

  • Willingness and ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.

  • Adherence to procedures.

  • Attention to detail
