Job Specification
To oversee and provide support to the offshore team based in India
Actively participate in the review of Financing Agreements when closing deals.
Administration and bookkeeping of the transactions.
Assist the lenders in the decision-making processes when required
Calculate settlements / amounts to be paid by the borrowers and lenders in accordance to the agreements such as fees, interest, and principal repayments / redemptions;
Cooperate with IT team in developing in-house software.
Coordinate the agency duties with the Loans Administration and Business Development department and support the activity of the Loans Administration department when required.
Coordinate, manage and register the communications and issues raised among borrowers, lenders, obligors and advisers of the transaction
Ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively ensuring best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines are adhered to.
Execute the instructions to make payments, on each payment date, according to the financing Agreement.
Manage ad hoc distributions;
Manage and coordinate amendments or waiver processes until resolution;
Manage and coordinate loan transfers between existing and new incoming lenders;
Manage and coordinate our KYC requirements in respect of all lenders and borrowers for any new transaction;
Management of communications / to be delivered to the borrowers and lenders, and the different Loan Admin. departments, according to the financing agreements.
Management of the Loan Administration for different jurisdictions: As a global financial services provider, Apex provides Agency services in a variety of jurisdictions.
Monitor and control the periodic or one-off compliance by the borrower of all obligations and compulsory actions and milestones set forth in the financing agreements.
Set up new transactions using our Agency Management Monitoring system called Tools
Setting of interest periods and reference interest rates applicable to each period.
Provide support and training to all team members as and when required
Skills Required
Ability to take initiative and multitask.
Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks accordingly.
At least 6 years of experience in the banking / financial / legal advisory sector
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and professionalism.
Excellent work attitude, quick and willing learner and proficient team player;
Experience in Syndicated Loan Administration, ideally in agency management as well as in the review of financing contracts; knowledge of LMA contracts, calculations of loans settlements, management of participations, etc.
Strong work ethic, a proactive approach and can-do mindset.
Syndicated Lending Experience with a Loan Administration background
Willingness to learn and get relevant experience in the syndicated loans sector.
