Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Product & Pricing Manager to lead key elements of
Apex Group’s Product Management agenda across the product lifecycle, with a
focus on commercial readiness, governance support, and the commercial
backbone that enables consistent execution at scale.
This role owns how our product catalogue, bundling and pricing architecture are
structured and governed, and how they translate into implementable
requirements for rate cards, margin models and sales platforms and related
commercial tools. You will manage a small specialist team in Pune covering
catalogue requirements and analytics, and work closely with Product Owners,
Sales, Operations, Finance, Technology and the proposal review function.
Your focus is to set direction, make decisions and coordinate delivery across
stakeholders, ensuring the right checks, data and commercial logic are in place.

Key Responsibilities
1) Product Commercial Readiness
• Define and maintain the commercial readiness checklist for new or
changed products, with clear criteria across documentation, billing logic,
workflows, servicing model and jurisdictional considerations.
• Coordinate readiness reviews with Product Owners, Operations,
Technology and Sales Enablement, agree owners and timelines, and track
gaps through to closure.
• Ensure readiness decisions and follow-up are supported by evidence,
testing outcomes and clear sign-off points

2) Product Governance and Prioritisation Support
• Provide the commercial and structural lens into product governance and
prioritisation discussions, ensuring initiatives are assessed with consistent
assumptions and a clear view on feasibility, pricing and catalogue impact.
• Maintain a clear view of in-flight initiatives affecting catalogue, pricing
architecture and readiness, and ensure progress and dependencies are
visible.
3) Product Catalogue and Bundling Framework
• Own the logic and structure of the product catalogue (product families,
service offerings, fee items) and the bundling rules across client segments
that support cross-sell, product density and operational feasibility.
• Oversee integration of new products or changes into the catalogue
following internal governance processes, ensuring consistency across
commercial tooling and reporting.
• Ensure catalogue and bundling structures are translated into clear
requirements for implementation in sales platforms and related tools, with
appropriate testing.
4) Pricing Architecture and Governance
• Maintain and evolve the pricing structure, margin framework and discount
guardrails, including approval rules and thresholds for non-standard
pricing.
• Lead regional pricing reviews with the right fact base, scenarios and
recommendations, and coordinate follow-up actions across stakeholders.
• Ensure margin models, rate cards and reference data remain aligned with
catalogue structures and governance decisions.
5) Commercial Systems and Implementation Coordination

Act as business owner for catalogue and pricing logic as it is represented in
sales platforms and related commercial tools, ensuring a single, reliable
source of commercial data.
• Direct the team in producing implementable requirements for changes
(what needs to be in the systems, how it should behave, how it should be
tested), and coordinate delivery with Technology and platform support
teams.
• Ensure changes are implemented with appropriate controls, testing and
documentation.
6) Insights Loop (analytics as an input to Product Management decisions)
• Work with the analytics specialist to define the key metrics that Product
Management needs to steer governance, readiness follow-up and value
realisation.
• Use insights from product, pricing and proposal data to refine catalogue
structures, bundling rules, guardrails and readiness criteria over time.
7) Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management
• Lead and develop a small team in Pune across catalogue requirements and
product analytics.
• Build strong working relationships across Product, Sales, Operations,
Finance and Technology to balance commercial objectives with delivery
constraints.
• Engage confidently with senior leadership up to ExCo level, presenting
topics clearly and driving decisions and follow-up.

Skills and Experience
• 10–15 years of experience in product management, pricing, commercial
operations or a related field in financial services or similar B2B
environments.

Demonstrable experience owning or shaping product catalogue structures,
commercial models, rate cards or pricing governance across multiple
products or regions.
• Strong ability to translate commercial intent into implementable
requirements for sales platforms and commercial tools, with structured
testing and control thinking.
• Strong analytical capability and judgement, comfortable working with
margin models and commercial datasets, with a practical bias toward
decision support.
• Experience leading small teams and coordinating delivery across multiple
workstreams and stakeholders.
• Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain complex
commercial topics to senior stakeholders and drive decisions.
What This Role Offers
• A senior role at the core of Product Management, with direct impact on
how Apex Group structures and commercialises its products globally.
• Regular exposure to senior stakeholders through pricing reviews and
governance forums.
• The opportunity to build and lead a specialist hub in Pune covering
catalogue, pricing operations and product analytics.
• A role combining strategic ownership with practical delivery, with visible
impact on product adoption, pricing discipline and commercial outcomes
