The Role & Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with corporate goals.
- Identify and evaluate new markets, clients, and partnership opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Lead high-level negotiations and close strategic deals with key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry leaders, clients, and partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal) to support deal execution and integration.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Prepare and present growth forecasts, pipeline reports, and strategic updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of closing complex deals and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience with African market is highly desirable.
