Role: Payment Officer
Role Location: Valencia

Role Summary:
As a Payments Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining all level checks, reviews and processing of payments workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Validation of money market transactions.
Validation of foreign exchange transactions.
Booking and validation of payments transactions.
Processing of confirmation matching.
Processing of complaints.
Processing of the daily check lists.
Booking/Approving of Payment related fees.
Know the cut off time for each currencies utilize.
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements.
Participation in simple projects in addition to day-to-day duties.
Determine priority in the daily payment s business.
Acting as first contact person for payment related complex questions and issues.
The Specialist must ensure adherence to Apex/EDB procedures in addition to both internal and Regulatory AML requirements at all times.
Skills Required:
Successful graduation in preferably Finance/ Business Administration.
Autonomous and solution-oriented working style.
Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level as minimum).
Good understanding of the Custody business.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Customer Focus.
Strong understanding of product range and operational processes.
Ability to work under pressure and to fixed deadlines.
