Key responsibilities
 Oversee the work of your subordinates and actively involved in people management
 Provide day-to-day financial reporting services to a portfolio of clients and structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures;
 Ensuring that all day-to-day matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner including monitoring tasks;
 Preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with GAAP (IFRS, US GAAP, FRS 102, Singapore GAAP and LUX GAAP);
 Preparation and review of bookkeeping work and accounting files, including checklists to support the effective review of the financial statements;
 Processing client and audit comments and striving always for a maximum of three drafts of the financials;
 Working closely with the Accounting Teams in various jurisdictions (Jersey, UK etc) to ensure that accounting records are accurate and transactions and activity within the portfolio are understood and incorporated into the disclosures as appropriate;
 Act as one of the main points of contact for locations and ensure information cascaded to team members in a timely fashion
 Chairing of weekly meeting with locations and ensure minutes of meeting are kept up to date and circulated to all concerned parties
 Assist in preparation of management reporting pack and responsible for preparation of monthly service delivery decks for relevant jurisdiction
 Ensure client databases are kept up to date at all time
 Monitor team's KPI and ensure these are being met and flag any departures in a timely manner
 Supporting the audit process to ensure the completion of milestones and deadlines;
 Accurate and timely time recording for your subordinates and yourself;
 Ensure high quality service delivery within the team
 Actively participate in the training and coaching of relevant team members
 Foster a team spirit and promote an inclusive environment for all. Act as a role model and openly share your expertise. Collaborate across functions and with other teams, sharing ideas.
