The Apex Group has an exciting opportunity for a Fund Accountant to join an inclusive and welcoming team in Shanghai. The job offers a favorable salary and benefits package, including the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.
Responsibilities:
Perform a review role and prepare in due course over the funds’ periodic Net Asset Value calculation and reviewing other fund related reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Prepare drawdown & distribution calculations and notices in accordance with the Fund documentation, reviewing the shares subscription and redemption transactions.
Handling the year-end financial statements, liaise internally with the preparation process as well as external auditors to facilitate audit process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Prepare and process payments in accordance with internal policy.
Work closely with Transfer Agency for Investor KYC and periodic review to align with AML regulation.
Follow up with the Tax Reporting Team to ensure fillings are completed in a timely manner.
Acting as a contact person for fund been delegated, communicate with investors, clients and other party for any issues may arise.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as required from time-to time by your managers or clients, collaborate closely with the full team to deliver exceptional client service.
Requirements:
Degree in accounting, finance and a minimum of three years of fund accounting and fund administration work experience within a professional environment with some knowledge of IFRS；
Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese;
A drive to meet deadlines and a keen interest in financial markets;
Knowledge of the local regulatory environment is a plus. Benefits.
