Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analysis Specialist to join our dynamic Business Intelligence - Operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with:
- Reviewing data and identifying insights
- Developing a hypothesis and testing whether the data supports it
- Presenting insights and observations in a clear and structured manner for senior management to understand
- Using ProHance or similar Workplace Analytics tools
- Other applications including: Microsoft tools (particularly Excel, Power BI, SharePoint and MS Lists)
This role is focused on business analysis and improvement. The successful candidate should excel at interpreting data and translating it into actionable insights. We’re looking for a proactive individual who can think independently and contribute to the continuous improvement of our reporting and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Operations side of the business with its use of ProHance (Workplace Analytics)
- Collaborate across Operations to gather information, understand how we work and develop each hypothesis
- Analyse data to identify exceptions, trends, patterns and insights that can drive positive business improvement
- Use PowerPoint, ProHance and Power BI to present findings
- Facilitate calls and meetings to present and discuss findings
- Configure ProHance based on feedback from the business
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, tools, and data quality
- Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and provide timely and accurate information
Skills Required:
- Proven experience in business analysis and requirement gathering, with a strong ability to capture and translate business needs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data manipulation and transformation
- Data-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to understand and interpret business requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in an operational reporting role
