Role: Graduate Fund Accountant

Role Location: Valencia

Employment Type: Permanent

Role summary:

As a Graduate Fund Accountant at Apex, you’ll move from your studies into a practical role where you’ll monitor daily cash activity, prepare journal entries, support monthly reconciliations, and assist with year‑end audits. You’ll also track key portfolio company transactions, giving you real insight into how investment funds operate. This role is ideal for new graduates looking to build strong technical skills and start a rewarding career in fund accounting within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor and record daily cash activity.

  • Prepare daily journal entries and monthly reconciliations.

  • Support the team in year-end audits.

  • Track portfolio company transactions (purchases, income, liquidity).

Skills / experience:

  • Degree in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration

  • Fluent English (written & conversational) - B2 at minimum

  • Diligent with strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Driven mindset with a can-do attitude and resilient in a pressurized environment.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a similar field.

  • Additional languages, e.g. German and French would be considered a plus.
