We are seeking a Client Service Manager to join our growing Fund Administration team in Luxembourg. This role focuses on servicing regulated private equity clients combining features of both open‑ended and closed‑ended funds. As a Client Service Manager, you will act as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of private equity structures. In this role, you will ensure that all accounting‑related deliverables are produced to a high standard, while coordinating internal teams and proactively managing client expectations.
Core Responsibilities
Overseeing and reviewing Net Asset Valuation (NAV) calculations for regulated and non-regulated private equity structures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls and fund documentation.
Taking full ownership of client relationships, acting as the central point of contact for all accounting‑related deliverables.
Managing client queries throughout the lifecycle of the fund, from onboarding to ongoing operations, and coordinating issue resolution in collaboration with internal operational teams.
Coordinating the timely production of accounting deliverables for structures such as RAIF, SIF, SICAR, SICAV, SCSp, ELTIF, Fund of Funds and other Luxembourg vehicles under Lux GAAP
Supporting operational teams with complex calculations, such as waterfalls, equalization, carried interest, performance fee, capital activity, allocation methodologies, and valuation inputs.
Overseeing ancillary processes such as invoicing, payments, cash reconciliations, and trade support.
Contributing to or preparing KPIs, client reporting packs, administration reports, and other periodic deliverables.
Ensuring robust follow‑up on audit processes, regulatory reporting, and adherence to Luxembourg laws applicable to fund administration.
Collaborating closely with risk, compliance, and legal teams to ensure that operational practices meet regulatory expectations and industry standards.
Experience & Technical Skills
Minimum 6 years of experience in fund accounting or client service roles within the Luxembourg fund administration industry (experience in various regulated and non-regulated vehicles preferred in Private Equity industry is a strong advantage).
Proven track record in managing client relationships and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
Strong understanding of Luxembourg fund structures, regulatory framework, and accounting standards.
Solid grasp of operational aspects of funds, such as capital activity, performance fee mechanisms, valuation considerations, and liquidity management.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with an eye for detail and problem‑solving.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence in interacting with senior stakeholders.
Working knowledge of systems such as eFront or similar platforms is an asset.
Fluency in English and German is required; additional languages (French, etc.) are considered beneficial.
