Apex Group is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Human Resources Team in India. The successful candidate will play an important role in the HR Global Mobility function, which focuses on the delivery of core transactional processes. The candidate has to demonstrate a strong attention to detail along with the ability to showcase a continuous improvement mind-set in regard to processes, whilst thriving in a dynamic environment with excellent collaboration skills.

Job Specification:
- Familiarity with the different visa types to work in the USA, Canada, & Mexico related work permits, residency requirements and immigration laws.
- Understands the basic criteria to evaluate eligibility for different work visa categories, such as L1A, L1B, H1B, TN, PR, etc.
- Prior experience in handling L and H visa applications for the US, including the subcategories such as H4/L2 for dependants, etc.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements, ability to communicate clearly and liaise with immigration attorneys in different countries and time zones and immigration authorities as necessary.
- Should have basic understanding of visa processes for Europe, MEIAM & APAC region.
- Ability to coordinate necessary paperwork across various departments like Finance, Legal, Co-Sec in addition to senior management for approvals.
- Capable of tracking and good record keeping of visa expirations, renewals and other compliance and reporting deadlines.
- Document management: Recording and maintaining application data, and ensuring documents are received within government time limits
- Logistics: Ensuring the administration and logistics of passport delivery
- Compliance: Staying updated on immigration laws and regulations to ensure the organization remains compliant
- Value-added services: Monitor and keep track of existing applications and keep them abreast of the latest updates on their applications
- Turnaround time: Ensuring the process is completed within the mandated turnaround time
- Training and Support: Providing training to the HR team on immigration policies and procedures, and offering support to employees regarding their immigration status
- Reports: Preparing reports, case notes, and other visa-related materials
Skills Required:
- 3 – 4 years of experience in Visa operations.
- A bachelor's degree
- Previous experience within similar role.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Attention to detail to ensure tasks are conducted at the highest standards.
- Highly organised with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
