FundRock NZ Limited is a licensed MIS manager under New Zealand’s Financial Markets Conduct Act. Through our Fund Hosting business, we issue and manage investment funds in NZ for:

  • offshore investment managers who want to offer PIE-compliant funds to NZ investors, but don’t want to go through the licensing process themselves; and

  • domestic investment managers who want to outsource the issuing and managing of their funds, so they can concentrate on investment management and distribution activities.

Investor Services Representative
Location : Wellington

As a member of the FundRock NZ team, this role is responsible for delivering a consistently high standard of investor service, ensuring a seamless, accurate, and “first time-right” experience. This position proactively supports investors across the full lifecycle, meaning fairness, transparency, and regulatory compliance at all times.

Job Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Apex NZ Compliance team: Conduct initial and ongoing customer due diligence (CDD)

  • Perform transaction monitoring and ongoing account reviews

  • Maintain FATCA/CRS compliance requirements

  • Support additional regulatory obligations as required

  • End-to-end ownership of investor interaction, from onboarding through to ongoing account management

  • Manage communications across multiple channels (email, phones, and other platforms) effectively

  • Proactively identify and address investors needs to enhance experience and outcomes

  • Provide insights and accurate information to support improved investor experience, support business decisions and operational efficiency.

  • Support the Investment Operations Team Leader with monthly and quarterly reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

Skills required:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in financial services.

  • Preferably to have working knowledge with AML, KYC, CDD

  • Strong communication skills and high level of organisation.

  • Proficient in Excel, Trello, and similar operational tools.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and collaborative working style.

  • Adaptable, solutions focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced growth environment.

  • Commitment to delivering exceptional investor experience.
