Apex is looking for a Manager (Vice President) – Capital Markets Accounting to support our growing operations in corporate solutions. This full-time Manager role is based in Luxembourg and comes with a generous salary and benefits package.

In this role, exposure on corporate accounting for Securitisation Vehicles, SPVs and a strong knowledge of IFRS and LuxGAAP is required.

In your role as Manager – Capital Markets Accounting, you can expect to:

• You will act as central point of contact for your clients, identifying and anticipating potential areas of concerns and providing appropriate solutions to their requests.
• You will utilise your excellent organisational skills and sound judgment to meet and exceed client expectations, address their service needs and meet their deadlines.
• You will be accountable to all operational areas of your accounts, primarily accounting but administration from time to time given your seniority in the team. You will manage a team that deals with the general accountancy of legal entities as well as reporting to the client and annual financial statement preparation.
• You will be responsible for the review and accuracy client reporting requirements, perform quality reviews of client reports, and serve as a high authority contact in addressing day-to-day queries of your team and the client.
• You will work with and lead other jurisdictional teams in our Global Service Centers.
• If approved you will be added to the client entity Directorship/Manager Boards.
• You will actively participate in the implementation of business plans, identifying business opportunities and developments and promoting business growth.
• You will be involved in client proposals and pitches, fee quotes, negotiations and reviews of client satisfactory ratings.
• You will lead and proactively participate in the development and implementation of systems and procedures, new accounting and administration IT processes ensuring that they meet business, client and team needs.

To apply for this Manager role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• An accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Finance/Accounting, including administration in the finance sector
• Meaningful years of experience in servicing Capital Markets clients
• Experience in accounting, including consolidation/controlling of alternative investment vehicles.
