Role summary:
We are looking for a motivated Swedish‑speaking Junior Accountant to join our Swedish Accounting Team in Valencia. This role is ideal for a native or fluent Swedish speaker at an early stage of their accounting career who wants to build strong technical skills while working closely with Swedish entities, clients, and regulations. You will support day‑to‑day accounting activities for the Swedish market, gaining hands‑on experience in a structured, international environment while working in both Swedish and English. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow professionally within a global organisation while staying closely connected to Swedish accounting standards and business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support accounting activities for Swedish entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Swedish GAAP and IFRS.

• Support day-to-day accounting activities under supervision.

• Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and accounting documentation.

• Process Swedish supplier and customer invoices, expense claims, and basic journal entries.

• Support month-end routines and simple financial reporting.

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely handling of financial data.

• Learn and follow internal accounting processes and controls.

• Collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.

​Skills & Experience:

• Post-secondary education or university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g. debits and credits, general ledger)

• Structured, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

• Professional working proficiency in English

• Fluent Swedish speaker

• Has a valid Swedish BankID

Nice to have:

• Internship, trainee role, or part-time experience within accounting or finance.

• Familiarity with Swedish accounting systems such as Fortnox.

• Exposure to ERP or accounting systems through studies or work.

• Basic Excel skills.

• Experience from university coursework, projects, or case studies in accounting.
