Role: Senior Governance & Oversight Officer

Role Summary:
This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day delivery of services within the Central Oversight team, with a strong focus on meeting client deadlines accurately and on time. You will be responsible for monitoring SLAs, managing deliverables, and ensuring Management Companies meet their regulatory obligations. The position offers hands‑on exposure to a broad range of investment fund structures across multiple jurisdictions, particularly within the Luxembourg and Irish financial services markets.
Job specification:
Perform ongoing oversight on delegated service provider such as Central Administrator and Transfer Agents as well as depositary banks. Perform data analysis for due diligence (initial and ongoing) including review and assessment.
Review of accounting data/ KPI of mostly liquid investment funds.
Ensuring provided data and supporting procedures are accurate and kept up to date
Anticipate potential risk and impact on the external net asset value calculation procedures, escalate issues and contribute to resolution of problems
Initial reviewing and preparing various reports, such as i.a. financial statements and capital accounts, Management Information. Report to management on operational risk assessment
Develop, adapt and improve appropriate risk-based control regime for each assigned service provider and client Fund by analysing internal and external data – i.e. control and auditing reports
Follow-up with service providers regarding any issues raised until resolution
Maintain regular service calls with clients and service providers. Performing onsite visits and process reviews jointly the team
Assist in developing measures to restructure and align Management Company services to meet future client, regulatory and business needs
Achieve high quality in all services provided to clients
Skills Required:
Strong academic background including in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Legal or comparable studies
Professional experience in the area of (fund) accounting, depositary or audit
Knowledge of European Regulator Investment Products, UCITS, AIFMD and Fund regulatory requirements
Excellent communication, analytical and critical thinking skills with high client and service orientation
Ability to work under own initiative
Ability to multi-task
Highly motivated, driven and focused with a desire for new challenges
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages in particular French and/or German are considered an asset.
