We are looking for dynamic and details oriented Finance Controller who will be responsible for managing all day‑to‑day accounting operations and month end close. The role will ensure audit-ready financials while building strong processes and internal controls in fast-growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting & Controlling
- Manage month‑end close, reconciliations, general ledger accuracy, and financial reporting.
- Oversee AP/AR, payroll coordination, cash flow monitoring, and working capital management.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and local statutory requirements where applicable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and management reports to support decision‑making.
Audit, Controls & Compliance
- Develop and document financial policies, internal controls, and accounting procedures.
- Coordinate internal and external audit readiness and ensure timely completion. Oversee tax compliance, VAT/GST filings, and regulatory reporting.
Tech‑Savvy / Digital Finance Responsibilities
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across accounting workflows.
- Support or lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP upgrades and specialized systems implementation.
- Maintain and optimize financial systems, ensuring data integrity and scalable processes.
- Own accounting processes and drive improvements/automation
What we are looking For :
Core/Must-Have skills :
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or ACCA with strong academic background in accounting and finance.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance controllership, financial reporting and compliance.
- Strong understanding of IFRS (preferred) and/or Ind AS and financial reporting standards along with hands on experience in audits, taxation and regulatory reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to handle large datasets efficiently
- Financials modelling and structured workbook design
- Exposure to ERP systems (such as Workday, SAP, Oracle or similar platforms)
Advanced/Good-to-Have skills :
- Power Query (data extraction, transformation, automation)
- Power Platform, Power BI, , Power Automate, Power App (data modeling relationships, DAX basics)
- Macros/VBA for process automation
