Key Duties & Responsibilities

Possess a strong understanding of:
- SWIFT messages (MT103, MT202)
- FED payments
- Internal transfers
- FX transactions

Good knowledge of global banking codes and payment systems, including:
- ABA, Sort Code, BSB, BIC, IBAN
- RTGS, NEFT
- Various global cash settlement methods
Hands-on experience in manual payments/wire environment with clear understanding of end-to-end payment lifecycle

Ability to:
- Interpret Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs)
- Identify missing or incorrect settlement/payment details

Handle:
- Fund-related vendor invoice verification
- Payment processing via banking portals
- Custody and fund-related bank invoice validation

Good understanding of:
- Subscription and redemption payment processes
Monitor payment mailboxes and prioritize transactions based on currency cut-off timings
Support global offices with daily payment processing requirements
Effectively respond to client and internal queries via calls and emails

Ensure:
- All daily transactions are processed and signed off within timelines
- Timely escalation of issues/blockers to management

Demonstrate:
- Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Flexibility to work in different shift timings
Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience in:
- Payments / Banking / Treasury / Transfer Agency environments
- End-to-end treasury and payment operations
Ability to handle and manage teams (10+ members preferred)
Good working knowledge of MIS reporting
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), MBA, or equivalent qualification

- Knowledge of Hedge Funds and Private Equity

Strong hands-on expertise in:
- FED and SWIFT payment processing

Minimum 7+ years of experience in:
- FX and payment processing
- Payment investigations and issue resolution
