Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Solution Delivery
- Engage with stakeholders to capture, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for Calypso-based solutions.
- Translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions within the Calypso platform, aligned with strategic objectives.
- Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to the expected quality standards.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Act as the primary interface between business users, clients, and development teams.
- Facilitate workshops to ensure clear understanding of requirements and Calypso capabilities.
- Lead and support client onboarding onto Calypso, including requirements gathering, configuration alignment, and production readiness.
Task & Priority Management
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives, including project delivery, enhancements, and support.
- Own and drive task prioritisation, ensuring alignment with business deadlines, client needs, and operational stability.
- Provide clear visibility on progress, risks, and dependencies.
Support & Operations
- Oversee 1st level support activities for Calypso, ensuring timely resolution and proper escalation of issues.
- Provide hands-on support to trading desk and middle office users, including production issue investigation and resolution.
- Perform data analysis and troubleshooting within Calypso.
Process & Documentation
- Define, document, and optimize end-to-end business processes within the Calypso ecosystem.
- Maintain high-quality functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
Testing & Delivery Support
- Support the full Calypso delivery lifecycle, including build, SIT, and UAT.
- Ensure business validation and sign-off of delivered functionality.
- Clearly communicate changes and solutions to both technical teams and business users.
Key Skills & Experience (Mandatory)
- Proven, hands-on experience with Calypso is required – candidates without Calypso experience will not be considered.
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst within financial services.
- Solid understanding of middle office, portfolio management, and trading workflows.
- Cross-asset knowledge
- Experience managing client onboarding and production support environments.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.
