The APEX Group is looking for an experienced and dedicated Depositary Assistant Manager to join our inclusive and collaborative team.

To give you an idea of how this role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to undertake:

• Supporting the Luxembourg Depositary team in providing depositary deliverables as defined in the AIFMD
• Depositary client liaison, working closely with the Depositary team on the client relationship management, to ensure that emerging issues are identified and resolved in a proactive manner, to enhance client service delivery and to ensure a seamless and coordinated service delivery by Apex Group
• Preparation and review of cash monitoring duties in accordance with the AIFMD
• Preparation and review of safekeeping duties in accordance with the AIFMD
• Preparation and review of oversight duties in accordance with the AIFMD
• Working closely with the depositary team on client relationship management
• Ensuring that emerging issues are identified and resolved to enhance client service delivery
• Analysing funds in advance of take-on to ensure a full understanding of their purpose, structure and activity
• Be a role model for Depositary Officers / Senior Depositary Officers
• Train and assist Depositary Officers / Senior Depositary Officers in performing all the AIFMD Depositary related tasks.
• Establish effective communication with clients, the Fund Administrators as necessary third-party agents and professional advisers to support the depositary work being performed

To apply for this role, you will need an economic or legal background (Bachelor required / Master preferable). You will also require:

• Economic or Legal background (Bachelor required / Master preferable)
• Excellent understanding of the role of a Depositary under AIFMD
• Previous audit experience would be an asset value
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Depositary function preferable
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Excellent analytical skills and affinity with figures
