We are looking for an experienced Senior Risk Officer to join our Luxembourg team. This is an excellent opportunity for a risk professional who enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders, influencing risk culture, and driving effective risk management within a regulated financial services environment.

In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening and embedding the risk management framework across our Luxembourg entities, ensuring compliance with CSSF requirements and alignment with Group standards. Acting as part of the Second Line of Defence, you will provide independent oversight and challenge while supporting strategic business initiatives and governance processes.

Experience within the fund services, fund administration, asset management, or broader financial services sector is highly valued. Exposure to digital assets would be considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation and continuous enhancement of the risk management framework across Luxembourg entities.
  • Provide independent oversight and constructive challenge to business activities as part of the Second Line of Defence.
  • Prepare and present risk reports to senior management, Executive Committees, and Boards.
  • Ensure compliance with CSSF regulatory requirements, internal policies, and Group risk standards.
  • Assess risks associated with new products, services, and business initiatives.
  • Oversee risk monitoring activities, including key risk indicators (KRIs) and key control indicators (KCIs).
  • Monitor outsourcing arrangements and third-party risks.
  • Support business continuity, operational resilience, and related risk management frameworks.
  • Promote a strong risk culture and enhance risk awareness across the organization.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks proactively.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in risk management within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks and Luxembourg regulatory expectations.
  • Experience operating within a Second Line of Defence function.
  • Proven track record of embedding risk frameworks into day-to-day business activities.
  • Strong knowledge of operational risk management, governance, and control frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior management and governance committees.
  • Experience within fund administration, fund services, asset management, banking, or a similar regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of digital assets or emerging financial products is a plus.
  • Professional qualifications such as FRM, CFA, PRM, or similar would be advantageous.
