Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily workflows, NAV preparation, reconciliations, and client deliverables for AIF Category II funds.
  • Review and finalize Daily/Monthly/Quarterly NAV calculations and investor allocation reporting.
  • Perform and review management fee, performance fee, equalization, series accounting, and waterfall calculations.
  • Ensure accurate booking of journal entries, capital activities, valuations, accruals, and financial reporting.
  • Review portfolio pricing and valuation in line with SEBI and IFSCA regulations.
  • Prepare and review investor reports, financial statements, and ad hoc client reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to all service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Liaise directly with clients for NAV reporting, query resolution, and ongoing operational support.
  • Support audits, regulatory filings, process improvements, automation initiatives, and work migrations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members while driving performance and operational excellence.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Alternative Investment Funds (AIF Category II) and GIFT Fund Accounting.
  • In-depth knowledge of valuation methodologies for equity, debt, bonds, debentures, derivatives, and unlisted securities.
  • Expertise in performance fee, management fee, equalization accounting, and waterfall calculations.
  • Sound understanding of SEBI and IFSCA regulations applicable to close-ended funds.
  • Experience in fund accounting, NAV preparation, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of EFront, Allvue, or Paxus is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and client management skills.

Qualification

  • CA / CFA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com
  • Relevant experience in AIF Fund Accounting and team management.
