Digital Product Sales (Asia) – Vice President
Sydney / Melbourne
Description
This is a permanent role representing Digital Products to professionally and efficiently promote growth across our product offering in the APAC region identifying new business prospects and pursuing and guiding them through the sales cycle to successful closure of the new client contract.
Job specification
  • Research and identify new prospects and promote our product offering in the region.
  • Manage lead generation and track all new enquiries throughout the sales cycle, diaries follow ups and develop customer relationships.
  • Respond to all new customer enquires in the region – provide relevant information including product brochures and arrange and attend demonstrations and assist in the specification and successful delivery of proof of concepts.
  • Respond to high level system functionality queries liaising with support and development staff as necessary.
  • Maintain and develop industry networks with links to existing and potential clients via face-to-face, email, phone and digital media.
  • Co-ordinate new client on-boarding, co-ordinating completion, review and sign off of all related client legal agreements and ensure smooth handover to onboarding team.
  • Source suitable PR & Media and conference opportunities in order to promote the products and recommend for sign off within agreed channels and budgets.
  • To document all activity and provide detailed monthly updates to senior manager.
Skills Required:
  • Required: 7+ years’ experience in the alternative investment industry, fund administration services industry, and/or fund administration technology.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of investment performance measurement, market risk and liquidity risk (ESG preferable).
  • Business and/or accounting or related graduate degree.
  • Experience selling technology, software/SaaS and/or platforms.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Sharepoint.
  • Be proactive, creative and enthusiastic with excellent organisational skills and a methodical approach to dealing with a wide range of tasks
  • Have an existing industry network.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Have the ability to articulate thoughts and ideas in a clear and confident manner.
  • Will need to rapidly gain expert understanding of/ and be able to discuss product suite and client agreements to deal with initial enquiries where necessary collating data internally or connecting clients to appropriate internal resource for further detailed discussions.
  • Take personal responsibility for successful outcomes, having a ‘can-do’ approach and putting the customer first whenever possible.
  • Have a congenial personality and good communication skills to support advanced relationship management with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to self-motivate, self-manage, independently organize workflows and drive processes without supervision.
