Description
Apex is looking for a Technical Ops expert to join our inclusive and collaborative team in Guernsey. This full-time Technical Ops Specialist role comes with a generous salary and benefits package, including the chance to join a thriving company.
As a Technical Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a high-accuracy output across multiple service lines. You will build and sustain excellent client relationships where necessary and help the operational teams achieve our mission of delivering excellent client service.
In your first few weeks in this Technical Operations Specialist role, you can expect to:
- Direct the Technical Operations team and assist the Directors/Senior Team in the management of the company
- Design, delegate and oversee the production of management information, regulatory reporting and other system-driven outputs for all entities contracted locally
- Assist with the design and implementation of controls around the preparation of capital adequacy calculations of licensed entities, management fees, carry calculations and all other ad hoc accounting tasks as required
- Oversee and monitor the implementation of automated performance fee software.

- Ability to lead self and others – a self-starter who can help others step up when faced with challenges
- Client relationship management skills
- A relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA etc) and at least 5 years of experience working in a managerial capacity in a financial institution, preferably within a Private Equity Fund Administration environment
- Previously approved by a regulatory body as a principal person.
