- You will act as the central point of contact for your clients, identifying and anticipating potential areas of concerns and providing appropriate solutions to their problems.
- You will utilise your excellent organisational skills and sound judgment to meet and exceed client expectations, address their service needs and meet their deadlines.
- You will be accountable for all operational areas, including administration, corporate secretarial services and accounting. You will deal with day-to-day communication with the client, suppliers and auditors, preparation of agenda for the meetings with the clients and leading the client meetings both in-person and via conference calls, prepare and review minutes, documents and reports prepared by the team, meeting regulatory requirements, performing cost analysis and budgeting, review and approval of payments, general accountancy of legal entities, processing and booking invoices, management of accounts receivables and accounts payables, reconciliation balances, and miscellaneous bookings.
- You will be responsible for the production of client reporting requirements, perform quality reviews of client reports, and serve as a high authority contact in addressing day-to-day queries of your team and of the clients.
- You will also be involved in various regulatory and management reporting requirements including EMIR and SFTR reporting. You will represent the clients in dealing with the regulators.
- You will take ownership of the performance of your team and ensuring that the team delivers, while effectively managing team’s resource. You can deal with teams that are outside your jurisdiction, supporting operating teams in London, Jersey and South Africa.
- You will also provide directorship services to the client’s board of directors, and lead board meetings.
- You will actively participate in the implementation of business plans, identifying business opportunities and developments and promoting business growth.
- You will be involved in client proposals and pitches, fee quotes and negotiations and reviews of client satisfactory ratings.
- You will lead and proactively participate in the development and implementation of systems and procedures, new accounting and administration IT processes ensuring that they meet business, client and team needs.
- Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in the field of Finance/Accounting, including administration in the finance sector
- Meaningful years of experience in servicing Capital Markets clients.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in managing a team.
