The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a trusted handler of the contract templates management. This role includes without limitation the day to day handling of diversified templates update across the globe, ensure consistency of our templates in different regions, advise stakeholders on the selection of relevant template(s), design, drafting and development of new contract templates. It also includes the maintenance of our database and management of the relevant folders in our IT infrastructure thereby making it easier to do business for the stakeholders.
  • Handle the review of Non-disclosure agreement and vendor management contract and advise on the contracting issues relating thereto.
  • Talented candidate will have the opportunity to act as strategic adviser to Business in future on contracting issues pursuant to our data repository as well as expanding the footprint to a wider contracting review.
  • General scope of work as expected from contract management handler would fall within the coverage of this role.
  • Keep abreast of the legal and regulatory changes relevant to Apex’s businesses.
  • Other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong legal background. Qualified lawyer will be an added advantage. At least 2 - 4 years relevant experience or post-qualification experience. Functional title will depend on the qualification and experience of the candidate.
  • Strong people management skill (including working well with stakeholders around the world), excellent problem-solving and analytical capability, being able to work independently and working as a team player.
  • Proven track record in similar role and have solid knowledge, experience or understand of Apex’s business (http://www.apexgroup.com).
  • An ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with ownership of the assigned task(s). Attend to details.
  • Excellent interpersonal, drafting and communications skills.
  • Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Access etc.
  • Excellent English proficiency.
