Investment Product Specialist

Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Head of Product in ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality service to our Fund Hosting clients. The role is focused on driving enhancements in product offerings and optimizing operational processes across the Fund Hosting business to meet regulatory and client expectations.

Job specification

• Coordinate and oversee quarterly PIE eligibility monitoring and reporting.

• Lead and manage the annual scheme audit project across all schemes.

• Conduct reviews of QFUs on behalf of the Product team, providing signoffs to Head of Product for final approval.

• Oversee the product compliance calendar, ensuring adherence to all regulatory reporting requirements.

• Manage the Product mailbox, addressing client queries or directing them to the appropriate escalation point or team member.

• Manage risk indicator calculations for all funds, including identifying updates required when PDSs need to be amended.

• Administer the process for calculating Total Expense Ratios for all funds.

• Manage quarterly Supervisor certificates.

• Assist in maintaining existing product disclosure materials, including updates to the Disclose register.

• Collaborate with the Head of Product to manage and nurture ongoing supervisor relationships and attending relevant monthly and quarterly meetings.

• Identify and implement process improvements in partnership with the Data and Reporting team.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Skills Required:

• Good understanding and keen interest in NZ’s financial services environment.

• Advanced spreadsheeting and wider data management technical capabilities.

• Ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal forms.

• Experience with having to be 100% accurate with documentation and reporting.
