Team Manager – Client Contract Management, Europe (f/m/d)

Job Specification

  • Manage the Client Contract Management Team for Europe, a team within the wider client onboarding framework
  • Responsibility for drafting all client service agreements for new business that falls within the scope of the centralised client onboarding team including ensuring that fee terms and service schedules are correct
  • Oversee the process and link in with all key internal stakeholders across the business
  • Take ownership of more complex cases consulting with line management, internal legal, service managers, senior management and compliance where necessary
  • Assist with the further role out of Apex Group MSA’s (“Master Service Agreements”)
  • Manage template repositories with local business leads
  • Act as an initial point of contact for escalations and queries, defer to relevant team where required
  • Provide clear Management Information Reports to key stakeholders
  • Build strong internal working relationships with each key department, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations
  • Manage the internal review process and execution of service agreements across different product and service lines
  • Join client calls / liaise directly with clients and the legal counsel when finalising service agreements
  • Update Policies and Procedures, maintain the necessary governance framework
  • Ensure correct approval is obtained for material deviations (legal, commercial, operational)
  • Challenge the process, drive efficiencies and look for technological solutions to assist


Skills Required

  • An individual with a legal qualification to degree level and 5 years applicable experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience within the financial services industry
  • Be comfortable / competent in dealing with fund structuring issues, legal terminology and fund services agreements
  • Team / people management experience
  • Excellent communication skills and a truly client servicing mind set
  • Good interpersonal skills, and sense of teamwork
  • Committed to self-improvement
  • Ability to work autonomously and remain calm under high pressure
  • Ability to deliver within agreed deadlines
  • Excellent knowledge of English required, any other language is an advantage
