Vice President - Private Equity Operations
Location: Abu Dhabi
The principal responsibility for the position is the coordination and management of all administration functions relating to a specific group of clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- Review of Net Asset Valuation (NAV) files for a variety of Private Equity funds, ensuring their accuracy
and compliance with fund governing and regulatory procedure. - Review of annual financial statement.
- Calculation and processing of fund capital calls and distribution.
- Assist in the preparation and completion of the audit process for assigned relationships
- Investor onboarding including AML/KYC documents review
- Assist in staff collaboration and ensure that client deliverables are being met
- Responsible for the consistency and accuracy of assigned relationships
- Submission of regulatory and tax filings on behalf of clients
- Regular interaction with clients, fund directors and other relevant parties.
- Assist management with MIS reporting
Applicants should possess (as a minimum):
- A detailed understanding of Private Equity and other close ended fund structures and the fund administration industry
- A detailed understanding of regulatory requirements
- 8-10 years’ experience in fund accounting and a professional degree in accounting or finance
- Knowledge of e-Front preferred
- An ability and desire to work to tight deadlines
- An ability to multi-task and manage projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues, clients, other stake holders
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
