Talent Acquisition Specialist, EMEA - Financial Services

The role

Apex Group is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Talent Acquisition team. You will join as a Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on hiring across Mainland Europe region including Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Malta, Bulgaria, Serbia and more.. We’re continuing to grow as a company, so we’ll be looking for you to will play an important role in the management, oversight, and improvement of the end-to-end recruitment process.

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • You’ll set the strategy for hires, owning the process and advising managers on the best course of action to successfully recruit for their teams.
  • Delivering a five-star, world leading candidate and hiring manager experience. We measure our success through key ratios in the team and providing a first-class experience is crucial.
  • Regular meets-up with hiring managers is key to establishing positive relationships and enabling you to manage and prioritise your time well.
  • Develop and lead on the sourcing and implementation of improved recruitment strategies;
  • Keep abreast of market data and trends, including competitor remuneration;
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including but not limited to:
  • Work with HRBPs and hiring managers to prepare and review job descriptions in line with the Company’s templates;
  • Publish job adverts in line with Apex Group guidelines as well as employment law;
  • Schedule interviews and conduct screening of candidates;
  • Guide and coach hiring managers through the Apex Group hiring process and Group templates;
  • Work with the HRBPs to draft and obtain approvals for conditional offers to candidates;
  • Review and update Group recruitment policies and practices;
  • Manage internal talent pools in line with Group standards and policies;
  • Provide accurate data and reporting analytics on Group recruitment trends;
  • Prepare weekly progress reports to communicate status of all vacancies;
  • Collaborate with marketing to build and improve the Employer brand;
  • Maintain an up to date PSL (Preferred Supplier List) for recruitment agencies;
  • Collaborate with legal to ensure that Group Terms of Business for agency use are in line with employment laws and Group standards;
  • Invoice and vendor management associated with recruitment agencies;
  • Offer training to managers where required for interview techniques, ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements.

Skills Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar Talent Acquisition role;
  • Must have experience within Financial Services recruitment, (working on European markets desirable)
  • Familiarity with hiring practices and stages (screening, interview, assessment, onboarding);
  • Thorough understanding of GDPR and its implication within the hiring process;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Project management skills;
  • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are conducted to the highest standard;
  • Ability to build relationships and credibility at all levels within the Company;
  • Ability to work autonomously and deliver in a fast-paced work environment;
  • Exceptional organisational skills with sound ability to prioritise workload;
