The successful candidate will report into the Client Services Manager and will be expected to work proactively, independently when required and as part of the Swiss team.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of management/statutory accounts to ensure the highest level of service, completeness, accuracy and reliability for clients
- Analysis and mitigation of operational risk and compliance issues affecting clients
- Providing effective solutions in matters of treasury and taxation
- Understanding the financial services regulatory environment and counselling clients on the impact of these
- The building and maintaining client relationships, including providing assistance in the management of a large portfolio of international clients
- Monitoring and reconciling all cash flows associated with the client’s activities
- Liaising with auditors, legal and tax advisors
- Preparation for and presentation of reports at Board Meetings
- Adherence with Internal Audit control procedures
- The management and development of junior and peer group team members in the client service team, and ensuring their personal and professional development
Skills / Experience
- Holder of a recognized professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and/or degree
- At least 5+ year’s accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years supervisory experience preferred
- Relevant experience in accountancy, financial control or audit
- Good knowledge of the financial regulatory environment (IFRS and Swiss GAAP)
- Understanding of relevant issues including financial regulation, treasury products, FX and interest rate risk
- A proven ability in building and maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients
- Dynamic communication skills, with an ability to build compelling arguments and proposals
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English. German an advantage
