Accounting Manager - Private Debt
Apex Group seeks a talented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our inclusive and collaborative team in St. Helier. This is a permanent, full-time hybrid role that comes with a generous salary and benefits package for the right candidate.
As an Accounting Manager within the Debt Division of Apex, you will have responsibility for the administration of a client portfolio, including the development and mentoring of the team members and providing the highest quality of client service.
In your first few weeks in this Accounting Manager role, you can expect to:
- Be responsible for managing a client portfolio, including all aspects of administration and company secretarial matters
- Manage and supervise several administrators and trainee administrators who would typically study for professional qualifications
- Work with other team Managers and Directors to ensure the planning, coordination and completion of all regulatory obligations and administration requirements within strict deadlines for a portfolio of entities
- Prepare and implement client-specific procedures concerning administration and reporting requirements for each entity
- Assist the accountants in respect of the planning and coordination of audits
To apply for this Accounting Manager role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the finance industry
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- An understanding of Jersey and/or Luxembourg statutory laws and other related legal and regulatory requirements (e.g anti-money laundering laws and regulations)
