Job title: Senior Manager

Role Location: Jersey

Apex are looking for a Senior Manager, reporting to an Associate Director within the Real Assets Team in Jersey, responsible for the provision of administrative support and relationship management to a client portfolio. Working closely with a Associate Director to provide quality and efficient services to all customers within the portfolio.

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and development of client relationships for which you are the key client contact;
  • Engagement with third parties, client advisors and intermediaries;
  • Work with the team Associate Director to ensure development of the underlying administration team;
  • Monitor adherence to client service level agreements (SLAs) and implementation of customer specific procedures (CSPs);
  • Ensure that client service task are planned and executed accurately and on time.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects as and when required by the business.
  • Work with the Associate Director to ensure that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to agreed client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines;
  • Leading on and developing the team members to undertake transaction management such as the acquisition/disposal of property and re-financing;
  • Take responsibility for the team’s output.
  • Assisting with the collation of due diligence and completion of customer take on procedures;
  • Monitoring of WIP and billing in accordance with fee agreements;
  • Review work produced by the team, such as payments and minutes, to ensure high-quality deliverables;
  • Attend board meeting to assist the Associate Director
  • Act as a B signatory
  • Manage risk in accordance with Apex Group policies and escalate matters in accordance with procedure where required;
  • Perform other duties to support the Director and team as may be necessary from time-to-time.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.
  • An understanding of all Jersey statutory laws and other related legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. anti-money laundering laws and fund regulations).
  • Motivated and driven.
  • Professional CGI (or equivalent) qualification;
  • Prior experience within the finance industry;
  • Ability to mentor, develop and train members of staff.
