Summary of the Position

The position involves the end to end process from trade capture and setup to validation NAV difference of a fund for all managers where Apex is not the primary administrator.

Outline of main duties and responsibilities

The Administrator – Replication Administration will be expected to:

  • To meet or exceed all client SLA requirements.
  • Ensure all trade files receive from Managers are successfully loaded in the Apex systems and are valued correctly.
  • Complete and clear systems recons, controls & correction/repair processes between the managers and Invest One.
  • Record statistics regarding recon exposures for risk management and penalties imposed by the managers.
  • Pro-actively review team processes, with the focus on process enhancement and automation.

Skills and experience required.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

Skills

  • Software programming skills are an added benefit.
  • Good Business Analysis experience is required.
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) are required.
  • Able to work within a team environment.
  • Confident & enthusiastic.

Education and Experience

  • A B.Com or similar tertiary qualification.
  • A good understanding of Asset Management front-office trading processes.
  • A good understanding of Asset Management back-office administration processes.
  • ·An aptitude for working with systems.
  • An above average IT technical background with Knowledge of MS office & IT packages (particularly Excel).

Reporting Structure

The Administrator – Replication Administration will report to the Team Leader – Replication Administration based in Cape Town
