Holtara is part of Apex Group and is the leading worldwide consultancy firm specializing in ESG advisory services and software solutions. We help our clients navigate the complexities of carbon & climate impacts, comply with relevant regulation, and achieve their sustainability goals.

Our team consists of approximately 150 people from various academic backgrounds – all driven by the aim to make real impact. Our team is based in Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Valencia, New York, Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and ever expanding. We have embarked on an exciting journey of growth: entering new geographies, developing new products, and expanding our team. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated early-career analyst to join our dynamic team and form part of our growing Americas practice.

About the Role

Analysts are typically staffed on one to three projects at the same time, and part of a broader team with more senior consultants and managers. This is a client-facing role, where analysts are part of client meetings from the start. Analysts support both the quantitative as well as the qualitative analysis for our client deliverables.

Example projects range from development of ESG & Sustainability policies & strategies for investment funds, annual ESG assessments and development of sustainability strategy roadmaps for companies, and facilitation of ESG strategy sessions with company management.

As an active thought leader in the transition to sustainable business practices, we are constantly developing and expanding our knowledge on various areas of the sustainability landscape. To remain at the forefront of this industry, we encourage our employees to develop expertise in a sustainability area aligned to their interests.

Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for highly motivated candidates with 0-3 years of working experience, that have genuine affinity with sustainability.

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• Fluency in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong time management, organizational and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical skills

• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; experience with additional data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus

• Good work ethos and eagerness to learn and develop

• You are team-oriented and demonstrate a collaborative spirit

• Relevant academic background – e.g. Engineering, Environmental Management, Sustainable Energy, Earth Sciences, Sustainable Business Management, Finance, Economics, or Policy. Work or academic experience in sustainability and/or finance is preferred but not required.
