We currently hold fund and securitisation structures with a total value of $260 billion. This is mainly allocated to alternative investments, including real estate, private equity, private debt and renewable energies & infrastructure (as of March 31, 2024).

APEX Group is currently looking for an Infrastructure Engineer m/f/d) to support our IT Department in Luxemburg. The role includes being responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the IT infrastructure using the latest technologies. An IT infrastructure engineer ensures all the IT systems that support the business. The infrastructure engineer ensures all systems within the organization function seamlessly.
What can you expect?
Design, build, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure using the latest technologies
Install, monitor, and maintain operating environments.
Ensure operating environments stay functional, secure and meets performance requirements.
Plan and Manage IT infrastructure patching and upgrades in accordance with vendor’s advisories and best practice.
Document all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response.
Ensure IT governance controls are adhered to meet regulatory requirements and industry good practices.
Administer and support broad area virtual private networks (VPN), as needed.
Administer middleware application servers and automated workflow tools
Administer datacenter virtualization technologies.
Monitor and manage infrastructure components on networks and servers to ensure that technical performance aspects in the infrastructure environment are optimized - including database, network, and application server performance.
Respond effectively and speedily to any IT infrastructure problems.
Design and implement disaster recovery plan for the Company’s IT Infrastructure.
Maintain operational documentation.
Provide training and support and maintain knowledgebase.
Design and implement automation for Citrix administration tasks.
What we need from you?
Experience in working with VDI, desktop transformation programs, profile management and optimization, Citrix policy optimization, application & OS deployment and patch management
Experience in working in a mission-critical environment.
Background in financial services or similar regulated industry is an advantage.
Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree OR you have 5+ years of professional experience in system engineering.
Microsoft Windows Server certification or comparable experience.
Certifications comparable to CCNP or CCIE.
Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory
Knowing DNS and DHCP technologies
Knowing how to deploy, maintain, optimize and secure Windows Server based Operating Systems
Good knowledge of ITIL standards.
Practical project experience in routing, switching and VPN.
Good communication, structured working style and team spirit.
Fluency in English. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
