Senior Administrator – Corporate Solutions
Role Location: Jersey, Channel Islands
Department: Corporate Services
Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
Reporting to: Associate Director
Summary of role
You will be a member of a team within our corporate services group that specialises in the provision of corporate services to regulated funds and fund services business clients.
Working closely with the responsible Manager and Associate Director on their portfolio, the role requires proactive, hands-on client interaction including regular client meetings, all conducted in a professional manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements, agreed client service-levels and company standards.
Job Specification
- You will be a key contact for the investment manager, board of non-executive directors and intermediaries within your designated portfolio of clients.
- You will assist in the training and development of more junior team members to build and develop their knowledge and enhance their career and promotion prospects.
- You will provide support to the management team in the operation of an effective system of internal control throughout the Company complying with prescribed policies and procedures.
- You will work collaboratively with a cross jurisdictional team on a dedicated client portfolio including attendance at Board and Committee meetings, drafting minutes and other governance and administrative matters.
- In addition work closely with in-house client accounting team and depositary team to ensure client deliverables are met.

Essential Skills
- To hold, or be studying towards, a professional qualification recognised by the JFSC preferably ICSA or ACCA.
- At least 4 years’ experience in the Finance Industry
- Broad knowledge and understanding of company administration and corporate governance.
- Proven knowledge of appropriate Jersey legislation and regulation and the ability to demonstrate both compliance, risk and audit awareness.
- Good minute writing skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly and technical language.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with experience of working in a team-orientated and collaborative environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to identify potential risks and escalate when necessary and the ability to draft high quality minutes of meetings.
Skills
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to identify and suggest procedural improvements.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise workloads, working within allocated deadlines and according to instructions and Company procedures, manage time scales and use own initiative.
- Confident in using all systems necessary for day-to-day tasks and ability to identify own training needs.
- To be aware of, and convey, the correct professional image and high standards applied by the Company.
Desirables
- Knowledge of the London Stock Exchange Listing Rules, the UK Corporate Governance Code and/or the Association of Investment Companies Code of Corporate Governance would be advantageous but not essential as “on the job” training will be provided.
