Description
The successful Senior Fund Accountant candidate will join the Fund Services team as a Senior Associate and will be closely working with Clients and Client Service Managers based in the US region to perform duties related to the administration of Private Equity Funds. You will review and sign off the Net Asset Value and Financials of the Private Equity and Hybrid Funds, including recording Journal Entries, preparing monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financials, processing payments, preparing investor notices and various client reporting.

Your primary Senior Fund Accountant, Private Equity duties and responsibilities:
- Review Capital Call and distribution workings along with notices and release to respective investors
- Handle migration of Hybrid and PERE Funds from onshore locations independently and ensure SLA targets are met
- Identify and implement process improvement techniques to improve process efficiency and team productivity.
Skills Required:
- Graduate or Post graduate in Accounting, MBA Finance, CA/CMA is preferred
- 2 plus years’ experience working in Fund Accounting, Net Asset Value calculation and Financial Statement preparation is preferred
- Experience working with accounting platforms such as Investran, eFront, or Allvue and Macro enabled workbooks is preferred
- Good conceptual knowledge in accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
- Some experience in handling client relationships as well as strong written and oral communication.
- Understanding loan/debt instruments is preferred
- Advanced English skills necessary
