Corporate Services Officer
Role Location: Malta

The Role & Key Responsibilities:
Apex Corporate & Advisory Services Limited is looking for a corporate services officer to work within the Malta corporate solutions team. The primary focus of the role will be that of drafting corporate documentation for regulated and non-regulated entities, general compliance of the corporate entity with the relevant legislation and regulations and other related tasks.
Job Specification
The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Dealing directly with clients, regulators in different jurisdictions, and other service providers of clients
- Having corporate experience, one of the primary responsibilities is the timely and accurate drafting of corporate documents
- Ensuring general compliance with applicable legislation and regulation of clients
- Drafting of registers, resolutions, notifications to investors and regulators, organizing client meetings, attending and minuting of client meetings, amongst others.
- Assisting other departments with client related queries, etc.
- Adopt a regionalised approach to core responsibilities to ensure group values of collaboration and high-quality client services are demonstrated in the documentation drafting process
- Compliance with procedures and template documentation where applicable in conjunction with the relevant department including compliance
- Provide support and assistance to the more senior team members in the Malta as deemed required by the manager of the department or head of corporate solutions
- Assisting the compliance team with the collation of KYC documentation as required
- Maintenance of the client folder both in soft and hard copy, where applicable
- Other ad-hoc responsibilities as they may arise
Skills Required
Candidates should have:
- 2 years’ experience in a corporate environment, preferably in a similar role
- Having a legal background would be considered as an asset
- Be self-motivated with a structured and determined approach to work
- High degree of communication skills, verbal and written with the ability to communicate externally and internally at all levels
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work with multi-cultural teams
- Computer literate.
