Client Director
Role Location: Trianon, Mauritius
Department: Operations

The Role & Key Responsibilities:
The purpose of the role is to focus on maintaining the effectiveness of the controls and operating procedures, coaching and supporting the team members actively whilst handling an active portfolio of companies.
You will be responsible for:
People management
- Manage a team people
- Coordinate the daily, weekly and monthly tasks of the team
- Act as a coach and support the personal development of the team
- Manage the employee lifecycle (recruitment, performance management, career and development plans) and support the individual growth and development of the team
- Coordinate the on-boarding and support new joiners
- Inspire the team to become high performers delivering consistent service excellence
Specifics of the role
- Comprehensive supervision of overall administration and corporate secretarial duties of the portfolio of client companies.
- Preparation for, facilitating at client board meetings, drafting minutes of meetings.
- Be hands on with all aspects of the work so that client deliverables are always top notch
- Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel.
- Ongoing communication with Clients and advisors.
- Review of legal documentation related to funds and fund investments
- Assessment whether investments and divestments, capital calls and distributions comply with the fund documents and applicable law
- Verification of ownership and maintenance of the asset registers
- Support in the on-boarding process and ongoing review of fund managers, fund service providers and delegates
- Maintain relationships with our clients and service providers
- Assist the management team in compliance related topics
Skills Required:
- Relevant college or university degree.
- Min. 8 year work experience obtained in accounting field and min. 4 year people management experience.
- Good command of MS Office.
- Ability to meet priorities and deadlines.
- A great amount of client responsiveness and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills along with strong people management skills.
- Proactivity and ‘can do’ attitude.
- Good communication skills and client-oriented attitude.
