Talent Acquisition Specialist (Bilingual)

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will join our Americas HR team and our growing Global Talent Acquisition team reporting into the Regional Lead, Talent Acquisition in North America. This ideal candidate will be critical in identifying hiring needs and assisting in hiring top talent for Apex open opportunities within Brazil and potentially new acquired Latin American offices in the future.

The responsibilities of this role include pro-actively sourcing passive candidates through various sources to assist in our hiring needs. He/She will be critical in pre-assessing candidates to present to hiring managers and guiding each manager through our hiring cycle all the way to the verbal offer process. This role requires someone to be comfortable with high volume recruiting. The right candidate is someone who can change their hiring strategy often to attract strong talent to our organization.

The Role & Key Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle volume recruiting experience, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing and hiring great employees.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers on a regular basis using a consultative approach.
  • Attract applicants for this niche market by direct sourcing and various other strategic forms of direct hiring though placing job advertisements and using social media and job sites.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, using strong assessment skills to match job requirements.
  • Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, location, business function, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Collaborates with the other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Play a key ambassador role to the Apex brand in your specific region.
  • Participates in global projects with local and global teammates.
  • A team player and someone who enjoys being part of a team focused on delivering great results.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelors/ College degree preferred in Human Resources or equivalent practical experience in recruitment / talent acquisition with a combination of agency and corporate recruitment.
  • 4 plus years of proven direct recruitment and sourcing
  • Proven experience in creating hiring strategies for recruitment of high volume and a variety of roles using various sourcing methods.
  • Experience driving workplace diversity and approaches hiring with a non-biased approach and guides hiring managers to do the same.
  • Strong proven experience of candidate tracking through an ATS (Workday)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Creative out of the box thinking on recruitment strategies
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Employment labour laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment in Brazi.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews at all role levels (Phone, MS Teams, etc)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference checks, etc)
  • Fluency in English is a must
